Sending emails from web applications is one of the most common requirements developers are faced with to deliver to their customers. You would think then that this would be easy to do, but many people often have difficulties implementing this in shared hosting services.

If you use PHP, one of the best options to send out emails is Swift Mailer. Yesterday, Fabien Potencier announced that he will be the project leader of this great library, which interacts very well with Symfony and other frameworks. This can only be excellent news, assuring users that the quality of the library will be high and that the integration with Symfony will continue to get better. He is asking for help in promoting Swift Mailer and increase its use. We congratulate Fabien on this and look forward for coming announcements.
