Symfony 1.2.9 available at ServerGrove

The symfony development team released symfony 1.2.9. The highlights of this release are:

  • Doctrine ORM upgraded to 1.0.12
  • Fixes to form and admin generators
  • compatibility with PHP 5.3

Also, the first alpha version of symfony 1.3 has been released, and symfony is looking for testers.

PHP 5.2.11 on all shared hosting servers

Today we finalized the upgrade of PHP to 5.2.11 across our shared hosting servers. Customers should not see any changes or issues with their sites, but if you notice anything let us know.

Security Enhancements and Fixes in PHP 5.2.11:

* Fixed certificate validation inside php_openssl_apply_verification_policy.
* Fixed sanity check for the color index in imagecolortransparent().
* Added missing sanity checks around exif processing.
* Fixed bug #44683 (popen crashes when an invalid mode is passed).
